I am downloading a file using the wget command. But when it downloads to my local machine, I want it to be saved as a different filename.
Using the tool, you can download files in background. The downloaded file will be saved with name ‘wget-log.’ This feature can be accessed using the -b command line option. Using CentOS Linux I found that the easiest syntax would be:
where 'link' is the web address you want to save and 'file.ext' is the filename and extension of your choice.

The wget command allows you to download files from the Internet using a Linux operating system such as Ubuntu.
